IA provided comments to USTR on the negotiating objectives for a US-Japan Trade Agreement. USTR is seeking public comments on a proposed U.S.-Japan Trade Agreement including U.S. interests and priorities, in order to develop U.S. negotiating positions. Japan and the U.S. both have vibrant digital economies and strong commitments to the open internet. Strong digital provisions in a U.S.-Japan FTA is a landmark opportunity for both countries.
