IA Letter to Administration on EU’s recent passage of the Copyright Directive

IA sent a letter to senior administration officials on the internet industry’s concern with the European Union’s recent passage of the Copyright Directive. The letter highlights that this policy will serve as a market access barrier for U.S. technology companies doing business in Europe and is at odds with fundamental principles of U.S. law and longstanding U.S. intellectual property policy and practice.
