IA signed a letter to the U.S. and EU government officials on the one-year anniversary of the CJEU’s ‘Schrems II’ ruling, which invalidated the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield framework. The letter is intended to inject momentum into the negotiations and call on the European Commission and the U.S. Administration to swiftly agree on a new adequacy framework for personal data transfers to the United States. IA joined 23 international associations in sending the letter.
