Tech industry advocacy groups worldwide jointly unveiled recommendations for G7 member countries in advance of the 2019 G7 Leaders’ Summit in Biarritz, France at the end of August. In the letter, the tech industry trade groups urged the G7 ministers to work together to enable digital technologies that power growth, development, entrepreneurship, job creation, and innovation around the world. The recommendations come as policymakers from the G7 countries and around the world explore the opportunities created by emerging digital technologies such as artificial intelligence.
