IA joined 163 Associations to send a letter to USTR opposing tariff increases from 25 to 30 percent that are scheduled to take place on October 15. Those increases will impact products on Lists 1-3 and hit over $250 billion in goods. The letter highlights that tariffs just cost Americans $6.8 billion in the month of July and that small and medium-sized businesses are bearing the brunt of the tariff increases. The letter is part of the public comment period on the October 15 tariff increases.
