They allow internet companies to provide better, more useful, and personalized experiences online. In the last decade, we have made incredible strides in machine learning algorithms, which has powered artificial intelligence (AI). As this technology has become more powerful and integrated in everyday life, there are obvious policy implications to consider. IA supports the ethical use of AI and encourages policymakers to use a risk-based approach to policymaking that allows for continued responsible innovation in this field.
