Director, Federal Government Affairs
Bo Morris is Director of Federal Government Affairs. Bo educates lawmakers on key issues facing internet companies and advocates for policies that facilitate the continued growth of the free and open internet.
Bo’s extensive Capitol Hill experience includes having recently served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director for Congressman Joe Neguse (D-CO). In that role, he worked closely with the Congressman to develop and execute his legislative strategy and led the office’s legislative team. Previously, Bo worked for former Congressman Jared Polis (D-CO), where he drafted legislation and managed the Congressman’s work on education, workforce, privacy, and civil rights issues. Prior to his time on Capitol Hill, Bo worked as a Research Assistant at Center for American Progress.
Originally from Alabama, Bo is a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, traveling, and searching for good Southern BBQ.
