Robert Callahan is the Vice President of State Government Affairs for Internet Association.

Robert has over a decade of experience lobbying in California, and has lead multi-state advocacy efforts for the tech industry for 7 years. Prior to joining the Internet Association, he served as director of state government affairs in California for another prominent technology association.  Over the years, Robert has found himself in the middle of a number of high-profile issues impacting tech in California and elsewhere, from privacy and government surveillance, to the sharing economy and internet taxation.  Prior to his work in tech, he lobbied for five years at the California Chamber of Commerce.
